Ben Hubert

Ben received a Bachelor of Arts in 1984 and Master of Divinity in 1987; both from Texas Christian University. He is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), with 33 years of experience in the parish setting. In 2014, Ben received a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Angelo State University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He is oriented in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and has received training from both The Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Philadelphia, PA and Christine Padesky, renown psychologist in the field of CBT.
Ben is certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy; a specific therapy designed to treat Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and is registered as a CPT provider in the state of Texas. Ben has also completed Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and primarily uses Gottman Method Couples Therapy in his work.
Ben primarily works with couples, affair recovery, and trauma recovery. He also has a special interest in working with LGBT clients/families and people who have experienced religious abuse.
