Throughout her tenure, Dr. Weisberg has been a role model and advocate for delivering quality, accessible care across Texas. Prior to joining BCBSTX, she was named one of D Magazine’s “Best Doctors in Dallas” for four consecutive years while managing her own private practice. In addition, she served as a member of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee at Medical City Plano and the Genesis Physicians Group Allergy and Immunology Board. She also helped develop a new initiative at Amerigroup Texas focused on value-based care outcomes for Medicaid recipients.
As a leader in both the provider and payer spaces, Dr. Weisberg is an expert in working collaboratively with clinicians, administrators, and regulators to produce results. Dr. Weisberg received her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Memorial Hospital. She also completed her MBA in Health Care Management at the University of Texas at Dallas.
